AGHH I HATE BLOGGER. THIS IS THE THIRD TIME IT'S DELETED MY WHOLE ENTRY!!! AGH I HATE YOU!!!!!!!!!

CHRISTMAS WAS GOOD. GOT A ROBOT AND MONEY FOR PASSPORT.

POOL PARTY WAS AWESOME. PASSED OUT EARLY. AL GOT WITH SANDRA, SOPH GOT WITH STEWART.

CASE, ZOE, MEG AND JAMES CAME 12 HOURS LATE. MEGS SAT OUT THE BACK SINGING FOR HOURS. CASE & I TALKED SHIT.

A TSUNAMI IN ASIA HAS KILLED 60,000 PEOPLE AND COUNTING. BIGGEST GEOLOGICAL EVENT IN 40 YEARS. HEAVY.

THE UNIVERSE WORKS. SOMETIMES I FORGET. BUT IT WORKS.

THAT'S IT I'M NOT TYPING THIS OUT AGAIN!!!

I sit here and try remember what it is that I was going to write. I ponder upon the narcissistic nature of all blog posts. I feel like not doing it, then I realize to deny my own narcissism is even worse. Or is it?

It is CHRISTMAS! YaaY!?



This Christmas doesn't really feel like it.
I've been in a daze through all.
There seems to be no real feeling.
The Plaza is full, lots of people are shopping.

Some of the things I have done or that have happenned lately:

* Dimebag Darrel guitarist of Pantera got shot in the head five times at a gig!! He's dead. It's crazy. There was no one on earth more metal than Dimebag. We had 3 days of non stop Pantera videos and music after the event to pay our honours. Pantera were a big part of my life when I was younger. This Love, Cemetary Gates, Walk... We'll miss you Dimebag. Respect.

* Went to Dennis's Cocktail Party. It was great, heaps of mango and strawberry daiquiries. Yum. While I was there I met Ben again, who is one of the sickest people out. He's like a cross between Stewart 'I can only get Cali chicks' Callashaw and Oscar 'Fuck knows Where I am these days' Brazil. (BRAZIL!!!!!!!!). He was so cool. He was a portal, and he could read shit. I think the best thing he said to me was 'If you don't know why you are where you are, or you don't know what the answer is. Forget about it and trust that it will come when it needs to. CHILLAX!'. That line of thought has really helped with a number of things, especially the new band with Budge and Case. Which is going along nicely thank you..

On the way to the party.. Austin crashed his car!! The front got all fucked and we had a gig the next day which we weren't able to play. Sucks to be us.

* Went to Panthers and got supremely drunk. It was nice. I like drinking, I usually feel healthier afterwards. I also love feeling seedy. I danced with Tim Kovacs and chatted with Gatt.

* Went on a shopping spree and bought a $99 digital camera from Go-Lo! (I love this camera cuz it's shit, it endears itself to me. It's like a crappy old kodak $20 camera, but digital. Giving everything that 'Old Skool' flayva. Sweet!)

* Bought some Shock Guns with Jeff. (They're laser guns, but when you get shot you get a shock!) They're proving very popular. Especially with Jeff.

* 'Myspace' Is the new 'in' thing that everyone uses. I see it as the Glenmore Park of the internet. It's cool but cuz all my friends are on it.

* Cleaned the whole house, washed the dishes etc. The house has been clean since. I'm great.

* Wrote some new songs with SSFD. One is called 'Tight Leather Pants' (Sorry Austin) and is Rock. The other one is funkier/heavier and we don't have a name for it but the line is 'I couldn't get away from me'. And of course we have our 'power ballad' on Keith Richards..

So that is all I can come up with. Christmas is coming yet again. *Siigh* It's such a daggy holliday sometimes. I should be thankful. I am! Actually, these last 2 weeks have been so idyllic, I feel like i'm in the wonder years or something. I anyone else realizes how perfect we have it right now.

I just talked to Austin on the phone, he's hanging out with Fatty, they're probably gonna cook themselves something healthy and eat it. Austin got into University. I feel happy for him but at the same time I worry about the future and the band. Life will work itself out no doubt.

The bolder the action, the greater the reward.
That's my quote, I came up with that, as i'm sure countless others also have.
Why? Because it's true.

The weekend was good (sorta), on Friday night I went out to a film festival in Cronulla with Stixx. We met up with a dude called Troy who's in a band called Fish Fingazz and his friend. Troy is a cool guy who doesn't give a fuck, he's loud and obnoxious and rude, but also very witty and has a magnetic personality. I like him, he carries himself around like a rock star.

The night would have been a good one but Stixx didn't have any I.D which caused us all sorts of problems.

We got into two clubs that night. At the first one cops came in with sniffer dogs and for some reason they sniffed out my bag, so I had to be escorted out and searched. It was almost really embarrassing but I found it funny. They didn't find anything and let me go and I had to line up all over again to get back in. Then we went to another club in which Stixx was allowed in by dancing to the security guard and saying 'Come on man, I need to dance, would someone under 18 dance this good?!', it was $10 entry & I paid for him but within minutes we were back out on the street because he'd tried to sneak in a bottle of Jack Daniels and gotten busted. We got into a fight, I told him he always fucked up and that's why we'd kicked him out of the band etc. I was pretty harsh. He ended up catching a taxi home and I stayed behind.

Saturday was Fatty's 21st! Fatty is great, he's got great big smooth hands that are fun to shake. He was dressed positively cool with a neat fluro pink shirt and black tie number. There was speeches, there was food, Al and I went for a treck to get some Coopers. Budge and Case and Zoe and Megan were not invited and that sort of gave everyone a bit more space to be themselves which was good I thought. I had a good time.

From Fattys 21'st we headed to Panthers. Austin and I snuck in our Coopers, went out the back and chatted while I promptly threw up. Ahh it feels so good to throw up sometimes.

From there I:Hung out with Swanny, talked to Amanda and got sleazy with Flabsy's sister Lauren.

At one point of the night, I asked Lauren to flash her tits to the table where all the guys were sitting and she did. The guys thought it was a crack up and I thought I was great for having asked, but it pissed Amanda right off. She stood up and walked off as soon as it happenned. Straight away I felt like I was in trouble. She thought it was disgusting behaviour, and probably that I was being a typical male chauvenist (which i was). I ran after her to try to spout some excuse to make it better but failed.

Since then I haven't shaken off the feeling that I did something wrong, which I didn't.

I ended up catching a Taxi home and passing out.

On Monday we had band prac, 'Keith Richards' is coming along good, we also have a show this Saturday at the Landsdowne, because this guy that books shows liked our Demo and wants to see if we can 'pull off the chops live'. Nice. Also, Austin gave our demo to some chicks on a train and this morning he got a message from one saying 'Hey spunk, your band is great, i've already put the name on my bag' or something cool like that. Wick-Ed.

The other band is doing o.k, we're throwing around some band names. Case wants to call it 'All Mixed Up' but I reckon that's crap.

.. I have enough money to get a ticket to Mexico, but that's it, I don't have enough for passports, food or anything else. I figure, if I buy the ticket then I HAVE to get the rest of the money together and at least i'll know i'm going, effectively 'locking in' the trip, a-la 'Price Is Right'. Hmm.. what to do what to do...

$49.95 For a Beanie!?

And I bought it..

At first I was suspicious, could an article of clothing possibly be worth that much.
It was a beanie after all. Tightness check, style check, comfort check, all pass. Hmm.. big decision.. I conferred with the BeaNi Gods.. it was time, I had to give something back.
The many many beanies i had gone through were all free, surely they would've liked it this way. The choice was made.. It's great, it's snug, and cool, and comfy and it makes me feel comfortable and warm everywhere I go.

Some things are worth paying the extra cash.

Things that have happenned lately :

Last Friday I went to watch the Harlem Globetrotters with Austin and Fatty and it was pretty cool, they put on a great show and are really funny and skilled. Afterwards I went to Hoju's with Fatty to say goodbye because he's going to Queensland for a few months.

On Saturday night I stayed at home. Budge and Peg came over and hung out most of the night, we played chess and shot shit.

Last week I got into 2 fights, one was over these toy tanks I ordered that didn't work. Everyone was putting shit on me and Al was being annoying so I snapped, but I snapped at Jeff and we had a scuffle. The other time was with Kansas cuz I told him to move his shit and he didn't like it and it escalated from there, I ended up getting my salad all over his pants (Balsamic) but it all turned out fine eventually.

On Sunday I went to Cronulla beach with Jeff. There wasn't too many hot chicks to perve on, but we met up with Troy who is one of Clay's friends and the singer in a band called Fish Fingazz and he was pretty cool. He invited us to a film festival taking place tomorrow night which I might go to.

On Monday I had lunch at the Embassy hotel ($5 Steak) then went to 'Adventure Golf' ('The latest development in golf entertainment') with Jeff, Zoe and Megan for Megans birthday. It was fun, but I came second last (I did get a hole in one on my first shot though).

Stoney has been hanging out at our house a lot lately which is cool. I like him, he's like this true blue aussie guy. He use to play bass for old skool band 'Below The Belt' with Easton and wants to get a band going again.

I now have enough money for my ticket to Mexico but nothing else and I'm not sure if I should buy it yet or not.

Fatty's 21st is coming up which should be good.

Band practice this week with SSFD was excellent and with Budge and Case it was o.k but not as good as usual.

Things are going well enough I suppose, I'm just bored.
