There are a few things i need to write about, or want to, rather,
First off is Beta Male Sex Palace, our new band.
We are Betas, we like video games and geeky books, odd topics, and cult films. Kung fu and horror. Having accepted this we have decided to be proud and start a nerdcore band to announce our Beta pride to the world, and the ladies. BMSP is the result. Mc Skate (me) and MC Plus Plus (Steve) will be ripping it up soon, so keep an eye out. Word to your motherboard.
We had a decidedly beta evening two nights ago, after finally getting the fireplace in my room started (!!! i was SO excited, i typed 'Fire' into itunes and listened to all my fire songs), Steve and I sat near the fire, playing Sam & Max (old and amazingly good video game) drinking cheap wine (St.Bernadinos) and smoking rollies.
At one point I looked at him.. "Dude, it doesn't get much better than this", to which he replied "No man, this is heaven. Fire, video games, goon and cigarrettes (and Baklava). This is Beta male heaven".. and I had to agree.
Later on that night we made some music, Ben and Megs came home, Ben gave me an intense massage as we watched the fantastic and relevant V For Vendetta and i slept with a warm water bottle in my bed, it was delicious. I felt amazing the next morning.
That night typical beautiful Melbourne fare, we went to a shadow puppet show in a barn, it was amazing, dodgy but amazing. A sweet story about a man writing postcards to a dingo he was once afraid of but now misses. A reflection on white mans take over and the destruction of nature without the preaching. Just a sweet story which almost made me cry.
There was also soup and bread.

Now I have two projects. BMSP, and the Sydney Road Film Festival competition.
Here's the deal. I have eight days, I dont have a camera, I dont have a script, no one wants to help me and Im going to win.
Prizes up to $1000!! I need the money! So im filming ALL the time with a borrowerd Kodak easyshare and hoping that eventually i will have enough footage to edit something together, even if its a random set of pictures and sounds, i can claim it as art. I'm going to win a prize.
